Thanks to my first blog readers and commenters
Alright, so I’ve not got much done with this blog over the past few weeks other than still working on some cosmetic changes, but have had some good comments from many of you already. I appreciate that and hopefully I can start to have some relevant and interesting content soon. I’m also very open to anyone making suggestions for topics that we can discuss especially in the fields of network security, IT security, Linux, anything technology, vacationing, sports (especially Husker sports) and anything related to deep sea fishing, diving and or snorkeling.
Additionally, I wanted to ask for some advice of anyone willing to share it. I, my kids (3 of them ages 12, 8 & 7) as well as my awesome girlfriend are going to be going to Orlando for a visit to Disney in about a month. I’ve been to Disney a couple of times before but I have not ever been there with my kids and expect a very busy vacation while there, but am looking for opinions of any particular attractions or parks that just should not be missed?
If any of you have any suggestions with regards to attractions, parks, exhibits, restaurants or general tips I’d like to open this up for comment now. Thanks to everyone in advance!

It had been quite some time since I had any presence on the web besides Flickr, Facebook and Twitter. Really, I’ve been wanting to get a new site off the ground for years but… I am not good with the artistic side of web design so I kept putting it off. But as I sat in my office one afternoon working on something forgettable I realized that I am frustrated with far to many things to not be posting my cynicism, sarcasm and other ‘isms into the matrix along with the many other great complainers of the world.
So what frustrated me into motivation? Well….. here’s the short list: U.S. Politics, bad programming, bad managers, ignorant people, Barack Obama, co-workers who believe they are far more skilled than they really are, global warming hype, green anything, anti-smoking laws, health care reform, gas prices, alimony, taxes, slow drivers, maniac drivers, no right turn on red, lawyers fees, lack of choice in political parties, the lack of available customization on Igoogle, Check Point’s Smart Defense, Microsoft Vista, to many Linux OS choices, the cost of a trip to Disney World.
Well hopefully the site won’t be all bitching and moaning. I’d like to also use this as a forum for technical information and for info or stories on various other subjects.
Check back regularly, for gripes of all sorts or discussions about almost anything.
